Ola Källenius, the chief executive officer of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, was in good spirits the morning after introducing the CLA sedan, the only new electric vehicle the company will release this year.
The hilltop villa that hosted the event on March 13 had heaved with international influencers and VIPs including singers Camila Cabello and Will.i.am; the forecasted rain had held off altogether; and the pope himself had reportedly received word of the well wishes Källenius had sent from the stage.
