US President Donald Trump hosted a senior UAE official for dinner Tuesday at the White House, as the Gulf nation pushes to ease access to US technology by investing in the country.
Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s national security adviser and brother of the nation’s president, planned to talk with Trump about increasing Emirati investment in the US, technology and energy, according to people familiar with the meeting who requested anonymity before the discussion because it was not publicly announced.
