Russian President Vladimir Putin is demanding a suspension of all weapons deliveries to Ukraine during a ceasefire proposed by US counterpart Donald Trump, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The two leaders began a phone call at 10 a.m. in Washington on Tuesday, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino said in a post on the X social media platform. “The call is going well, and still in progress,” he said.
