Trump Should Tell Putin to Take Ukraine Deal, Minister Says

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said he hopes US President Donald Trump will tell Vladimir Putin to accept the ceasefire proposal that Ukraine has backed, and warns it would be “damaging to even consider” restoring relations with Russia now.
Trump is due to speak to the Russian president on Tuesday as the US pushes for a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine. Budrys urged Trump to take a hard line in the discussions.
