Rearming Europe May Take More Than Decade, Analysts Say

It may take more than ten years for European NATO members to bolster their defense sectors, as the continent rushes to reverse decades of underinvestment and deter future threats from Russia, according to a Bloomberg Intelligence analysis.

The 15 largest European members of the alliance may need to ramp up investment by as much as $340 billion to $720 billion annually, Bloomberg Intelligence analysts wrote in a reportBloomberg Terminal released Thursday.
