Slovakia Doubles Weapons, Ammunition Exports in 2024, CSOB Says

Slovakia doubled its exports of weapons and ammunition last year, becoming one of the most significant European arms exporters by share of gross domestic product, according to analysis conducted by one of the country’s largest commercial banks.

The central European nation achieved record-high arms exports last year, exceeding €1.2 billion ($1.3 billion), Marek Gabris, chief economist at CSOB, said in a report Tuesday, citing official foreign trade data.
