Billionaire Izzy Englander’s Millennium Management is preparing to open a trading operation in Monaco in the coming weeks, according to people familiar with the matter.
Ziad Kerbage, who was recently with Maven Securities, will be Millennium’s first portfolio manager in the city-state and he will build out a team there, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing personnel. The hedge fund firm has applied for local approvals for the outpost, the people added.
