Bolivia Cuts Fuel Subsidies as Economic Crisis Deepens

Bolivia’s socialist government curbed the fuel subsidies that have been a pillar of economic policy this century as the nation’s economic crisis deepens.

The measures will limit the supply of cut-price fuel to gold mining and agribusiness, and then to other producers, but not to ordinary consumers.
