Leonardo, Baykar to Jointly Develop Drones in European Push

Italian defense and aerospace company Leonardo SpA and Turkey’s Baykar signed a deal to jointly develop drone technologies with the goal of supplying the European market.
The new joint venture will design, develop, produce and maintain unmanned aerial systems, according to a statement by both companies on Thursday, that confirms an earlier Bloomberg report.
