Testing Firm SGS Holder Raises $837 Million in Share Sale

Groupe Bruxelles Lambert NV raised about 745 million Swiss francs ($837 million) for a roughly 4.5% stake in Swiss testing and certification group SGS SA, according to terms seen by Bloomberg.

GBL, which is the largest holder of SGS, sold about 8.5 million shares at 87.65 francs apiece, according to the terms. The price marked a 5.8% discount to the prior closing level of 93 francs.
