Telecommunications company Mitel Networks is preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as soon as next week, according to people familiar with the situation.
The closely held Canadian company and its lenders have been negotiating a debt restructuring as it faces weakening revenue and upcoming debt maturities, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing a private matter.
