The Trump administration’s tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico place the Jeep, Ram, Chrysler and Dodge brands at a disadvantage to their European and Asian competitors, automaker Stellantis NV told its US dealers on Tuesday.

The measures also “would add a cost burden in an already extremely sensitive pricing environment” the company said in an email to its retailers that was seen by Bloomberg News. Stellantis declined to comment.
