BlueCrest Hires Portfolio Manager From BP in Commodities Push

BlueCrest Capital Management has hired Kory Lim as a senior portfolio manager, as the hedge fund looks to expand its trading coverage of commodities in Asia, according to people familiar with the move.
Lim has been with BP Plc in Singapore since 2012, and was most recently derivatives book leader for middle distillates such as diesel and jet fuel, according to his LinkedIn profile. BP didn’t respond to a request for comment, while a spokesperson for BlueCrest said they do not comment on hiring.
