Hamas Sees Talks at Impasse as Gaza Truce Nears Deadline

With the fragile six-week Gaza truce hours away from expiring, Hamas rejected Israel’s conditions for an extension and said there were no negotiations planned over proposals to end the war.

However, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet indicated that indirect diplomacy wasn’t at an impasse ahead of Sunday’s deadline.
