Ramaphosa Joins Other Leaders to Slam Israel, Trump’s Gaza Plan

Three developing nations’ leaders issued a rebuke of Israel’s execution of its war on Hamas in Gaza, and said US President Donald Trump’s proposal to annex the territory and deport all its citizens would be illegal and amount to “ethnic cleansing.”

The war, in which tens of thousands of people have died, has been “enabled by powerful nations providing diplomatic cover, military hardware and political support” to Israel, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Colombian President Gustavo Petro said in an article published in the Washington-based Foreign Policy magazine on Thursday.
