Fewer Global Deals to Get UK Antitrust Attention, CMA chief says

The head of the UK’s embattled antitrust regulator said her agency could vet fewer global deals in the future, as it moves to fall in line with the government’s pro-growth agenda.
At the same time Sarah Cardell, chief executive officer of the Competition and Markets Authority, warned that if a slew of deals come through that hurt consumers the watchdog won’t hesitate to weigh-in.
