BP Plc’s Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project is set to export its first liquefied natural gas cargo from offshore fields in Senegal and Mauritania.

Preparations for the shipment from the $4.8 billion GTA project are underway, BP’s partner Kosmos Energy Ltd. said in an earnings statement. An LNG tanker called the British Sponsor signaled GTA as its destination on Monday and remained near the terminal, ship tracking data compiled by Bloomberg showed.
