Philippines, New Zealand Eye Military Deal Next Quarter

The Philippines and New Zealand may sign an agreement in the second quarter that will allow the nations to conduct military drills in each other’s territories.

The two countries concluded negotiations for a status of visiting forces agreement earlier this week, the Philippines’ Department of National Defense said in a statement Thursday.
