Greece is a “safe” country for tourists to visit, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said, downplaying concerns that recent seismic activity on the island of Santorini will worsen.
“No one can predict the future, but we are cautiously optimistic about what is happening on Santorini and hopefully things will go according to plan and will return to a normal state relatively soon,” the premier said in a Bloomberg TV interview with Francine Lacqua Thursday.
