European Central Bank Governing Council member Gabriel Makhlouf warned of dangers to the slowdown in consumer-price growth amid acute uncertainty.

“Needless to say, the disinflation process remains subject to risks, and there is a very high degree of uncertainty surrounding the outlook,” the Irish central-bank chief said Thursday in remarks prepared for an address in Dublin.
