Carlyle, Thoma Bravo Shortlisted in Bidding for SmartTrade

Private equity firms Carlyle Group Inc. and Thoma Bravo are among the suitors shortlisted in the bidding for French software firm smartTrade Technologies, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
TA Associates has also been picked to proceed into the final stage of bidding, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the information isn’t public. The current offers value smartTrade at about €550 million ($577 million) to €600 million, one of the people said.
