Airbus Steps Up Effort to Unite Europe’s Fighter-Jet Programs

Airbus SE stepped up a call for collaboration on Europe’s competing fighter-jet programs, pressing governments to join forces rather than duplicate resources on projects costing tens of billions of euros.
“We need scale,” Guillaume Faury, chief executive officer the European planemaker, said Thursday in Toulouse, southern France. “We are prepared at Airbus to contribute in a larger way.”
