Roper Technologies Explores $4 Billion Neptune Unit Sale

Roper Technologies Inc. is exploring a sale of its Neptune Technology Group division, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The Sarasota, Florida-based company is working with advisers to solicit interest from potential buyers, including private equity firms, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing confidential information. The division could fetch as much as $4 billion in a transaction, they said.
