Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro’s minority government will get backing from opposition parties including the Socialists to defeat a censure motion announced by far-right party Chega.
Socialist leader Pedro Nuno Santos reaffirmed on Tuesday that his group will vote against Chega’s proposal, saying the motion serves only to deflect attention from the far-right party’s internal problems.
