Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called on lawmakers to pass legislation that would make it possible to expel media and civil society groups that accept foreign funding, according to a newspaper report late Tuesday.

Orban’s request came during an annual retreat of his Fidesz party that’s wrapping up on Wednesday, pro-government newspaper Magyar Nemzet reported, without saying where it got the information.
