Arctic Wave Set to Bring Snow and Cold Snap to Mediterranean

A blast of arctic air will bring unusually cold temperatures and snow across southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean this week.
Temperatures will start dropping Wednesday and continue dipping through the weekend, according to Weather Services International. National forecasters across the region have issued alerts and warned of unseasonably cold conditions in Slovakia, Serbia, Romania and Greece.
