Sudan Coalition Delays Signing of Parallel-Government Agreement

A plan by a group of Sudanese political parties to form a parallel government was delayed until the end of the week to allow the addition of another armed group, according to an official involved in the discussions.
The signing of a founding charter of a new government allied with the Rapid Support Forces militia that had been scheduled for Tuesday will now take place on Feb. 21, Nasredeen Abdulbari, a former Sudanese justice minister who supports the proposed government, said by phone on Tuesday.
