Singapore Activist Investor 3D Questions Sapporo Acquisitions

Singapore-based investment fund 3D Investment Partners Pte sent a letter dated Feb. 18 criticizing Sapporo Holdings Ltd.’s past overseas acquisitions as failures, and questioning the responsibility of the board of directors.
The letter, seen by Bloomberg, was sent by 3D to Sapporo’s board of directors with a list of questions. A day earlier, Sapporo announced that the board had voted against appointing former Toshiba Corp. outside director Paul Brough, who 3D had proposed.
