Polish Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski said the European Union needs to show more solidarity on defense spending in the face of “mixed signals” from the US.

Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Domanski said the events of the last few days, during which the administration of President Donald Trump effectively sidelined Europe in talks about the future of Ukraine, should be a wake-up call for the region to come up with solutions more quickly.
