Europe Gas Stocks at 80% Are Enough for Next Winter, Engie Says

Europe should have enough natural gas for next winter even if officials slightly relax requirements for reserves, according to France’s Engie SA.

A storage level of at least 80% is more than enough to make it through the next heating season without shortages, the energy company said in a document seen by Bloomberg News. That compares with the 90% average threshold for the bloc now required by the European Commission by Nov. 1.
