DOGE Worker at Education Department Has Ethics, IT Training Gap

Six people are carrying out the work of Elon Musk’s government cost-cutting group at the US Department of Education, though one of them hasn’t completed ethics or information security training, according to a court filing Sunday.

The so-called Department of Government Efficiency has embedded workers in agencies across the federal government in an effort to reduce spending and root out what Musk has described, without citing direct evidence, as pervasive fraud.
