Poland Presidential Hopeful Decries Trump War Move as ‘Weakness’

The presidential candidate of Poland’s main ruling party warned that an effort by President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine without Ukrainian and European leaders, creating division and bolstering Vladimir Putin, would be a sign of “weakness.”
Rafal Trzaskowski, who is leading in polls to become president in elections set for May, compared pursuing a unilateral program with former President Joe Biden’s pullout in Afghanistan, which Trump condemned as weakness. Striking a deal with Putin would show the same weakness that the US president himself condemned, he said.
