Top executives from Australia’s A$4.1 trillion ($2.6 trillion) pensions industry are heading to Washington this month to meet with senior officials from President Donald Trump’s administration to discuss investment opportunities in the US.
The funds will attend a summit in Washington, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed on Thursday, without naming the funds. Senior members of the Trump administration are expected to attend together with US governors of states that offer investment opportunities for Australia’s private pension industry.
