The UK’s tax officials are urging YouTubers and online sellers of handcrafted items to come forward to seek advice on their financial affairs, as part of a clampdown on people using undeclared “side hustles” to make extra money.

HM Revenue and Customs has launched a drive targeting an army of content creators and sellers that may owe taxes after a boom in revenues generated online.
