AppLovin Plans to Sell Mobile Games Unit for $900 Million

AppLovin Corp. intends to sell its mobile games development arm to a private company for $900 million, company executives said yesterday during their conference call.

The company’s stock, which surged more than 700% last year, jumped as much as 30% in premarket trading after its first-quarter sales forecast surpassed expectations. Revenue next quarter will be $1.36 billion to $1.39 billion the company said, higher than the $1.32 billion consensus estimate.
