Ukraine Says Russia Targeted Energy Facilities in Attacks

Russia targeted Ukrainian gas and power facilities in strikes overnight and early Tuesday as night temperatures in Ukraine fell below minus 10C (14F).
“Another attack on Ukraine’s energy system is underway. At night, the enemy attacked the gas infrastructure,” Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko said on Facebook without elaborating on what objects were targeted. “As of this morning, the energy sector is still under attack.”
