Shiseido Co.’s full-year profit will fall short of expectations as the Japanese cosmetics firm struggles in the face of lackluster Chinese demand.

The company said Monday it expectsBloomberg Terminal core operating profit of ¥36.5 billion ($240 million) for the 2025 fiscal year, missing the ¥41.91 billion forecast by analysts. Net income may reach ¥6 billion yen, compared with an estimate of ¥28.96 billion.
