Shiseido Co.’s full-year profit will fall short of expectations as the Japanese cosmetics firm struggles in the face of lackluster Chinese demand.
The company said Monday it expects core operating profit of ¥36.5 billion ($240 million) for the 2025 fiscal year, missing the ¥41.91 billion forecast by analysts. Net income may reach ¥6 billion yen, compared with an estimate of ¥28.96 billion.
