BC Partners Said to Seek Up to €6 Billion for New Flagship Fund

Private equity firm BC Partners is planning to seek €5 billion ($5.2 billion) to €6 billion for its latest flagship fund, people with knowledge of the matter said, counting on its recent success in divesting assets to navigate a still-difficult fundraising environment.
The London-based firm is set to start raising money for BC Partners Fund XII in the second quarter, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information. It’s aiming for a first close for the fund by the end of this year, the people said.
