Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its “categorical rejection” of comments by Israel’s premier proposing to resettle Palestinians from Gaza in a sharply-worded statement.

“The Kingdom affirms that the Palestinian people have a right to their land, and they are not intruders or immigrants to it who can be expelled,” the Gulf nation said in a statement on Sunday carried by the state-run Saudi Press Agency.
