The Kremlin on Sunday declined to confirm or deny that Russian President Vladimir Putin had spoken with President Donald Trump, after the New York Post cited the US leader saying they’d discussed the war in Ukraine on a phone call.
“Now that the administration in Washington is developing its work, many different communications happen, and these communications happen through various channels,” Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, told Russian news services.
