Democratic Lawmakers Demand Release of Frozen EPA Funds
Senator Ed Markey and other Democrats called for the agency to release grants halted by the Trump administration, following court orders to end the freeze.

“Thousands of EPA projects, worth tens of billions of dollars, have been illegally shut down,” Senator Ed Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat, said after being turned away trying to enter the agency.
