Amtrak is rolling out a new in-office mandate and will stop dedicating resources to advance diversity, equity and inclusion programs and policies, a company spokesperson confirmed Thursday.

The US passenger railroad sent an email to employees Thursday notifying them that it is formally revising its work arrangement policy to four days a week in the office effective March 3. Additionally, it is no longer dedicating funding to its DEI initiatives effective immediately.
