UBS Swiss Capital Hit Will Likely Come Gradually, Analysts Say

Switzerland will probably take a gradual approach to implementing new capital regulations that UBS Group AG has warned could affect its payouts and the country’s economy, according to analysts at Citigroup Inc.

“Our base case is a transition period will ensue, thereby providing a degree of flexibility,” Citi analysts led by Andrew Coombs in London wrote in a note to clients on Thursday.
