California’s all-out push to decarbonize its economy will succeed despite President Donald Trump’s efforts to block climate action, one of the state’s top energy regulators said Wednesday.

“Never discount the state of California and what we’re able to achieve, OK?” David Hochschild, chair of the California Energy Commission, told the BloombergNEF summit in San Francisco. “We are going to get to 100% clean energy in this state. I am absolutely confident of that.”
