The UK has pledged to achieve 95% clean power by 2030. It's an ambitious, tough goal – and even tougher to accomplish while reducing energy prices. But Chris Stark, head of the nation’s Mission Control for Clean Power, says he’s “confident” the UK can deliver.
“There’s lots of reasons to think that the consumer price can come down, but you’ve got to deploy these things at scale quickly to see that happen,” he told Akshat Rathi in a live recording of Zero at the Carbon Trust’s Energy Transition Acceleration Forum.
