British Airways Revises Changes to Loyalty Club After Outcry

British Airways has made tweaks to its loyalty program, just over a month after an overhaul that triggered a storm of complaints from the airline’s customers about how to earn points.
The airline will now make it easier for frequent customers to secure higher status tiers that offer perks like priority boarding and advance seat selection, it said in an online post. Members can obtain bronze or silver status by taking 25 or 50 flights per year, respectively, a change that will benefit commuters who regularly fly less-expensive short-haul routes.
