Morgan Stanley has appointed Pradyut Pratap and Usman Akram as joint heads of its investment bank in the Middle East and North Africa, a region increasingly coveted by global finance firms.

The co-heads will report to Massimiliano Ruggieri, Morgan Stanley’s head of investment banking in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, according to a recent memo seen by Bloomberg. They will replace Patrick Delivanis who took over as co-chief of the bank’s broader regional franchise in 2023.
