The consumer price index for Istanbul rose 5.16% on a monthly basis in January, pointing to a tick up for Turkey’s national month-on-month inflation figure that’s due Monday.
On an annual basis, prices in the Turkish commercial capital rose 48.4% in January, according to data published by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
