Apple Inc. is facing steep odds in overturning a German regulator’s decision to put it under tighter antitrust scrutiny.
The judges on Germany’s top civil court signalled at a hearing on Tuesday that they are inclined to reject Apple’s case against the Federal Cartel Office, the nation’s antitrust watchdog. The assessment of the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe can still change, and both parties submitted further arguments.
