Macron’s Approval Rating Drops to Record Low in Ifop Poll

Emmanuel Macron’s approval rating has fallen to the lowest since he became French president in 2017, according to a poll by Ifop for Le Journal du Dimanche.

His popularity dropped to 21% in January, down three points from the previous month and taking the score below the levels reached during the Yellow Vest protests that began in late 2018, the survey published in the Sunday newspaper showed.
